How can I support you as your Thanet end-of-life doula?
I will be a calm and compassionate presence for you and your loved ones.
I can help in creating a safe space where you can talk openly and honestly about death.Working together, I can assist you in making sense of advance care plans and directives. We can go through them together to make sure your wishes are clearly understood.
We can chat through options for funerals, memorials, or life celebrations, whether you’re after something traditional, something totally unique, or even a living funeral.
We can explore what’s felt meaningful in your life, and if you’d like, support you in creating a legacy project to leave behind.
I can offer simple, non-medical comfort techniques – like guided imagery, breathwork or relaxation – to help ease anxiety and bring calm.
I will support any spiritual or personal rituals that matter to you, or help you create new ones that feel right.
Conversations can be had with you and your loved ones to talk through what to expect during the dying process. I can be there at the bedside if that’s something you’d like.
I can be your advocate, to make sure your final wishes are heard and honoured.
I can gently guide family and friends through those first steps of grief.
How would we work together?

I offer end-of-life support for carers and families as someone approaches the final part of their life. I can provide a calm, reassuring presence and help you feel more prepared.

Absolutely. I can visit weekly, fortnightly, or just now and again—whatever feels right. Whether it’s emotional support, a listening ear, or help with small tasks, I’m here.
Can you help me understand the dying process?
Yes. If you or someone close to you would like to know what active dying might look like, I can explain what to expect in a clear, gentle, and supportive way.
What if I just want help with paperwork or planning?
We can meet once or twice to focus on something specific—like starting your paperwork, preparing a Statement of Wishes, or talking through your funeral preferences.
What if I just want someone I can ring?
Sometimes just knowing someone is there can make all the difference. I offer phone support too—whether that’s checking in or talking something through.
